Gus Penaranda

Gus Penaranda is the original architect of the 2024 LGBTQ+ law recognizing LGBTQ+ businesses in the state of New Jersey.

His career spans almost three decades and includes working for three New Jersey Governors, Passaic County Community College and has developed programs and initiatives that are still in existence today. Penaranda is also a member of the FBI Citizens Academy and has become the business community’s link to the 2026 World Cup. As the former Executive Director of the Pride Chamber, Mr. Penaranda has shown his ability to get things done in real time.
